Scope

We accept regular papers describing new methods in the following (not limited) topics:

Statistical analysis of cardiac morphology and morphodynamics
Computational modeling and simulation of the heart and great vessels
Personalisation of cardiac model, electrophysiology and mechanics
Quantitative cardiac image analysis
Sharing and reusing cardiac model repositories
Translational studies of cardiac image analysis in clinical practice

Submission guidelines

  1. Papers are limited to 8 pages (text, tables, figures) + up to 2 pages for references.
  2. Initial submissions must be anonymised. Author names and affiliations are added in the final version.
  3. Use the official LNCS templates and guidelines.
  4. Camera-ready (proceeding) versions of accepted papers may be up to 11.5 pages (total including reference) to accommodate any minor changes for the camera-ready version. This is to ensure that any additional content that Springer may add to link to supplementary material, if appropriate, will not exceed the 12-page limit.
  5. Supplementary materials (video, animations) may be submitted as a single ZIP file.
  6. Selected papers will be published in a Lecture Notes in Computer Science proceeding published by Springer.

Camera-ready guidelines

Please follow the following steps to upload your camera-ready paper:

  1. De-anonymize your paper (authors in the same order as in OpenReview), include a Disclosure of Interests section, and additionaly you can include Acknowledgements.
  2. Download the License-to-Publish 📝 form, fill and sign it by the corresponding author (do not edit the pre-filled information), and export to a PDF file with a filename STACOM_XX_LTP.pdf, were XX is your OpenReview paper ID.
  3. Include source files:
    • For Microsoft Word, please include the source file with the name STACOM_XX_source.docx.
    • For LaTeX, please include a zip file named STACOM_XX_source.zip, containing the *.tex files for the manuscript text, files used for figures (.ps/.eps/.jpg/.pdf/.png), your bibTex file (.bib) if using bibTex for references, any additional style files and fonts you used, together with your source files that are not generally available at CTAN. Feel free to remove files that are not essential to compile your PDF paper.
  4. Place all files in a single folder named STACOM_XX.zip.
  5. Submit STACOM_XX.zip file via the Revision option on your paper's OpenReview page:
    author console ➡️ submission ➡️ edit ➡️ revision ➡️ upload

Please note that we will inform you later regarding poster or oral presentation. We would like to remind you, that at least one author needs to register for physical, on-site participation in order to present your work in person.

An open-access version of all accepted papers from STACOM 2026 will be made available on the MICCAI Society website no earlier than one week before the first day of the conference. Authors intending to file patents are responsible for ensuring that all necessary filings are completed prior to this public release.
